Paynes Bay - Famous Beach for all Ages


Paynes Bay is one of the most popular beaches on the island of Barbados. The bay stretches 750 feet wide lapped by warm, calm waters and white sandy beach. It is located along the west coast, in the parish of St.James and being quite close to Holetown town, it offers you a new opportunity in exploring Barbados.

This bay is very safe for swimming. Families with small children find this place a great one for swimming. It has calm clear waters and gentle waves giving you also the enjoyment to a variety of waterspouts activities in the area. You can do jet skiing, catamaran sailing, and snorkeling.
