The Santorini Kind of Adventure

One of the oldest and most spectacular places to visit in Europe is Greece. It is where we can find historical landmarks, peoples and events, dating as far as before Christ's time.

We know Greece that way, but looking more closely, you will find the most unique, heavenly most beautiful place on earth, Santorini.

Santorini is an island among other islands within a circle, formed from volcanic eruptions some 1500 years ago. Being formed from volcanic activities, Santorini became a unique landscape with one hand, the hilly darkish rock formations and on the other, various beaches and small, white dome-top villages.

Apart from these are monuments and other structures formed from Thira, an active volcano which is still producing these magnificent land masses until today.

The famous white structures and shops are kept near one another on and over the cliff of the center of Thira's caldera. Among the most favorite tourists activity are hiking, relaxation, swimming, jet-skiing, scuba diving and shopping. Hiking trails are all over the island, walking can be very pleasant while doing window-shopping and sight-seeing.

During winter, the weather can be favorable to some visitors (no crowds), so you can expect to see less crowding on public places. Summer temperatures can reach 40C or 110F. Guests can ride ferry boats to get to the central island, visit new islands and bathe in hot springs.
